General Information:
The COMET facility is located in an office park off of 47th Street in northeast Boulder. The address is 3450 Mitchell Lane, Boulder, Colorado 80301.
To Get to Boulder from the Airport via the Shuttle:
The Boulder SuperShuttle
provides hourly shuttle service between
Denver International Airport
(DIA) and Boulder. The Shuttle follows an hourly schedule, leaving DIA 10 minutes
past each hour, every hour, and takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes each way.
Reservations are not required nor made for service from DIA only. However,
you will need to purchase a ticket from the Boulder SuperShuttle booth at the
airport before boarding. Reservations need to be made for your
return trip to DIA, and we will assist you with that.
The cost of the Boulder SuperShuttle from DIA to the Boulder Outlook Hotel and Suites (and for a return trip) is $22 each way. If you depart from COMET to DIA on your return trip, the cost of the Shuttle is $28. The SuperShuttle phone number is 303 227-0000 for information on transport from the Boulder area only .
To Get to The Boulder Outlook Hotel and Suitess from DIA:
(via E-470 Tollway & Northwest Parkway; the fastest
route)
When leaving DIA, you will see an entrance ramp to get onto the E-470
Toll Road. Three (3) tolls are collected ($2.00 each) on
E-470 for a total of $6.00 each way.
When leaving the DIA complex, Take Exit 6B heading north on the E-470 toll
road and drive approximately 18.5 miles. When Colorado E-470 becomes Northwest
Parkway, go approximately 9.5 miles to 96th Street. Take US-36 West. US-36 becomes 28th street. Take ramp To Baseline Rd. Go straight across Baseline onto Frontage Rd. Go about 1 block to entrance of "Boulder Outlook Hotel & Suites."

(via Interstate 70, Interstate 270 & US-36)
From Denver International Airport (DIA), follow Airport Exit signs to Pena Blvd. After 9.7 miles, Pena Blvd. merges into I-70 W/US-36 W. From I-70 W/US-36 W - Take the I-270 N Exit (exit number 279) toward Fort Collins - Merge onto US-36 W - Take Baseline Exit - Stay in middle lane after exit - Proceed through traffic light onto service road - Go past stop sign and "Boulder Outlook Hotel & Suites" is on your right side of the road.
To Get to and from Class:
COMET vehicles will be available for the students. These
are primarily to be used for carpooling to and from COMET. These vehicles
are not for personal use; they are for group transportation. Please refer to
the COMET Van Usage Policy. If you have

To Get to COMET from the Boulder Outlook Hotel and Suites :
To get to COMET, head North (turn right onto) 28th St Frontage Rd toward Aurora Ave. Take first left after Aurora Ave then take an imediate right on to 28th St/US-36, go approximately 1.5 miles, and turn right on Valmont Rd. Stay on valmont for .8 miles and turn left on to 47th St.
Turn right on Mitchell Lane. The first building on your right (with pinkish windows) is 3300 Mitchell Lane. Follow Mitchell Lane until it runs out and you are facing three NCAR buildings at 3450 Mitchell Lane. The COMET Offices are located in Building 3; however, the COMET Classroom is in Building 2 (the center one), Room 1024. You may park in the Visitor Parking lot in front of Building 2. Enter Building 2 and ask the receptionist to direct you to Room 1024.
To Get to COMET from Highway 36:
To get to COMET you need to exit onto Foothills Parkway, and head north
approximately 3 miles to Valmont. Turn right (east) on Valmont, and immediately
get into the left turn lane. Turn left onto 47th Street and follow it for a
couple of blocks. Mitchell Lane is on your right, and is the last street before
the railroad tracks. Turn right on Mitchell Lane. The first building on your
right (with pinkish windows) is 3300 Mitchell Lane. Follow Mitchell Lane until
it runs out and you are facing three NCAR buildings at 3450 Mitchell Lane. The
COMET Offices are located in Building 3; however, the COMET Classroom is in
Building 2 (the center one), Room 1024. You may park in the Visitor Parking
lot in front of Building 2. Enter Building 2 and ask the receptionist to direct
you to Room 1024.
