IPO/COMET® NPOESS Curriculum Development Workshop

Welcome to the 2005 IPO/COMET NPOESS Curriculum Development Workshop Home Page! This 2-day workshop is designed primarily to evaluate effectiveness of current polar-orbiting satellite training efforts and how they prepare the user community for future initiatives such as NPOESS. It will look into identifying common training initiatives that address multiple constituencies’ needs that the COMET program (in cooperation with the IPO) can use for guidance in planning future learning materials. We will also encourage collaboration in future polar-satellite meteorology training and education efforts.
