Satellite Derived Motion Fields: TARGET SELECTION PROCESS

• Consider small sub-areas (target area) of an image in succession

• Perform a spatial coherence analysis of all targets. Filter out targets where:

  • scene is too “coherent”
  • multi-deck cloud signatures are evident
