About Boulder

Boulder (eval. 5385 ft.) is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains at the base of Flagstaff Mountain and the Flatirons.  It has a population of 90,000 and is home to the University of Colorado at Boulder and its 25,000 students.

Colorado, and Boulder in particular, is well-known for its beautiful scenery and famous for its health-conscious residents.  Boulder is a unique city, with large tracts of land that have been designated as "open space" available for recreational use.   The nationally renowned scenic bike path along Boulder Creek is a great place to take a walk or bike ride.  If you are looking for a greater challenge such as hiking, rock climbing, or cross-country skiing, Boulder is the place to be.

Listed below places where you can obtain information on specific activities along with other information about Boulder and Colorado.  If you don't see something you're looking for please ask Janice or Wendy for help.
