GOES Imagery Used on TV

When you watch your local newscast for weather information, satellite images and animations are often included. Satellite animations or loops are shown to indicate the movement of weather features across the nation (national scale). Imagery can be enhanced to appear three-dimensional, as you can see in this Hurricane Pauline image.
