The objective of this Partners project is to examine four heavy precipitation events to identify key variables and processes at the synoptic scale and mesoscale from the case studies, from which a decision flowchart for forecasters can be created for forecasters. The Weather Event Simulator (WES) system will be used to analyze the case studies and to provide special training sessions to NWS forecasters.
