Special Data Notes

NOTE: Some of the NTRANS files were uniquely generated for this case, and will not appear in all cases distributed by COMET, i.e., the combined dates metafiles such as ngm_11-15mar93_us_main_anl. Furthermore, the scripts used to create these unique metafiles are not included in the case. However, scripts that generate the COMET standard NTRANS metafiles are included. The only gridded model data for this case is the NCEP Nested Gridded Model (NGM) and the NCEP ETA model. The other directories exist in order to increase the size of the window for reading all the metafile product names

 

NOTE: The "paper" that is referenced in the labs below can be found in .gif files on the case tape in the directory: /11mar93/gifs.
