This case has been used several times in the COMET Classroom. The materials for the lecture and laboratory are available on the COMET anonymous FTP server. They are compressed Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. To retrieve them type the following:

The files are:  

• lakesnow.ppt.Z - This is a lake effect snow lecture with 59 slides
• lakedrt97.ppt.Z - This file is a PowerPoint presentation introducing a laboratory exercise at COMET
• lakewrap.ppt.Z - This is a summary of the above laboratory exercise.

These PowerPoint presentations are compressed, so after you down load the files, use "uncompress" to expand the files.
