Topics included This session addresses the particular air quality concerns of the eastern United States as relating to wildland fire smoke emissions. It will focus on the use of remote sensing and models for emissions and emissions inventory for eastern fires, public health concerns for fire smoke in the east, eastern visibility and fire, and fire and ambient standards in the east. Finally, the session will explore potential for new science partnerships for land and air quality managers working together to lessen smoke impacts across eastern regions and state jurisdictions. |
