Learn AWIPS CAVE

 

Course Description

The Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS) is a meteorological software package used for decoding, displaying, and analyzing data. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of working with the desktop client, Common AWIPS Visualization Environment (CAVE), through demonstrations, tutorials, activities, assessments, and challenges. Sections should be completed in sequence but may be completed over multiple sessions.

 

Intended Audience

The lesson is intended for anyone interested in learning the basics of the AWIPS CAVE desktop client interface.
