COMET Staff Spotlight: Meghan Neuhaus

Meet Meghan Neuhaus, COMET's Technical Project Manager. Meghan brings a wealth of online learning project management experience to our team. Among other great projects, she is leading COMET through the migration efforts to our upcoming, brand-new learning management system (stay tuned for more about this LMS soon!). 

What are you currently working on? 

I am working on completing COMET’s transition to a new project management software, Planview, as well as leading our move to a new Learning Management System. 

What excites you most about your role/working at COMET? 

I love the opportunity to train people on the new platforms we are using. It is exciting when people see the value in the shifts we are making, and the possibilities that are opening up! I also love to answer questions and help support people as they are figuring out the new software. It is a great job, the people are fantastic, and COMET is a wonderful place to work! 

What has been a turning point or defining moment in your career?

A turning point in my career was when I started designing and managing virtual exchange programs. Through that work, I discovered a passion for online learning and saw firsthand how technology can make the world a better, more inclusive, and connected place. That has really impacted my career and life until now. 

Are you a cat or dog person (or fish, lizard, bird, etc.)? 

I am definitely a dog person! Here are some pics of my cute pup, Jack. 

What is a fun fact about you? 

I have lived in four foreign countries. I love to travel and explore! :) 

What are some of your hobbies and interests?

I play some guitar, sing, bake, practice Tai Chi, and I love to spend time with my husband, Alexis!
