Open Acess to Real-time Data

Real-time data systems that provide streaming and analysis of data at the instant of their measurement are vital to mission-critical, impact-based forecasting. The majority of current data platforms are tuned to nonreal-time applications, while the few true real-time data platforms are unavailable to broader stakeholders. CHORDS is designed to provide an open-access platform for real-time datasets.

3D-PAWS Real-time Data on CHORDS

CHORDS (Cloud-Hosted Real-time Data Services for Geosciences) is a US National Science Foundation (NSF) EarthCube initiative to provide a platform for sharing geosciences datasets. It is supported and managed by the NSF National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) Earth Observing Laboratory (EOL).

3D-PAWS real-time data are available on the CHORDS 3D-PAWS project data servers.
